Putting her bitter break-up with Pete Doherty behind, Kate Moss is currently undergoing a huge transformation from a model to a business magnate, for she is all set to launch her first fragrance.

The perfume ‘Kate by Kate Moss’ is the result of a collaboration between Moss and perfume company Coty Inc.

“It’s something I’ve thought of doing for a long time, but it just never felt right. It felt natural to take the next step,” the Mirror quoted Moss, as telling Women’s Wear Daily.

Fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar surveyed 1,000 people for an issue celebrating “everything British”.

The poll found that “old Britain” was represented by a stiff upper lip, impeccable manners and wartime leader Winston Churchill.

But 33-year-old Moss, who was notoriously photographed allegedly taking cocaine, best sums up modern Britain, along with multiculturalism and “chavs”.

Supermodel Kate Moss’ second range of clothes for a British high street store is expected to sell out in hours when it launches in London next month (Sep07).

Moss’ debut for Topshop made the store $7 million (GBP3.5 million) in its first week on sale in May (07), with most items selling out in just two days - despite fashion commentators’ criticism of her designs.

The latest line hits stores on 7 September and Moss’ cult status looks set to guarantee an even greater demand in London - and New York, where the designs will go on sale later in the month.
